Hi Debbie,
A big thank you for sending your JazzEnews. It's well compiled,
a delight to read and has such good content.
Anyhow, I hope you have gotten over the colliewobbles or whatever!
Thought I might mention that the Peninsula Jazz Club (Mornington
Peninsula SE of Melbourne) was probably the first Australian Jazz
club to put up a web site - way back in 1994. I'm the secretary of the
club and also been the webmaster for all those years (well sort of -
my son does the technical stuff!!!)
Our web address is www.mfrworks.com.au/pjc/
We are 350 strong and we get nearly 200 to our monthly gigs on the third
friday in the month at the Patterson Lakes Community Centre - 8pm start.
Keep up the good work,
Cheers
Eric Morton
HI Deb
Great to talk to you. I was also very pleased to hear that there are still some real journalists out there! As someone trying to support young and emerging artists...
